Military Personnel Flight
Temporary Changes Due to Coronavirus
The following guidance is in effect through September 30, 2020 to ensure our Military Personnel Office is postured to maintain continuity of operations, while also minimizing the number of
non-essential required visits.
Common Access Cards
Monday & Wednesday office hours, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., only for mission essential CACs.
For emergency CAC issues call 781-760-1193.
CAC transactions are limited to initial issuance or reissue of one within 30 days of expiration
CACs will not be reissued due to life changes such as promotions or name changes.
Expired CACs cannot access the Air Force Network (NIPRNET). Military, civilian and contractor personnel who require NIPRNET access cannot do so with an expired CAC. There is a technical effort underway to change this capability.
Uniformed Services ID (USID) Cards
USID cards that expired on or after Jan. 1, 2020, are authorized for continued use through Sept. 30, 2020, as long as cardholder's affiliation is unchanged.
Continued use of the Reserve USID card to obtain active duty benefits is authorized for mobilized Reservists and their eligible dependents. Access to healthcare and other benefits remain intact during this time in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
